Odd Sock
We welcome “Odd Sock” onto our stage for the first time this month. They are Kathy Brown on fiddle, Michael Arslanian on guitar, Henry Plewa on fiddle, and Billy Simmons on piano.
Carlos Sevilla calling
Originally from Quito, Ecuador, Carlos Sevilla first fell in love with contra dancing while studying in Massachusetts. He’s now one of the main contra dance organizers in Victoria, BC. We know him from playing for our dances as part of the band Na Mara. Carlos has slowly expanded into the art of calling dances as well. And, as always he’ll do a free beginner/refresher workshop at 7:00 just before the dance.
