Colin Hume has called at Dance courses in Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark and Canada, and for Dance Weeks in the U.S.A. at Pinewoods in Massachussetts, Mendocino in California, Brasstown in North Carolina and Buffalo Gap in West Virginia, plus a week of Dancing down the Nile in Egypt with Peter Barnes and Mary Lea.

He enjoys calling Contra, Squares, English and other forms of dance, and Americans now seem to be understanding his sense of humor better.
He hasn’t called on the West Coast since 2007, so maybe it’s time to give him another try!

The Rosewind Country Dance Band has been playing for Contra Dances and English Country Dances in Port Townsend for about 5 years.  Melodies are carried by the strong twin fiddling of Libby Schnick and Dan Post; with Marsha Wiener carrying the rhythm on piano, Libby Reid on mandolin and guitar, and Dick Lynn on guitar and flute.  Fred Nussbaum does a little of everything on cello and mandolin.
