The Contra Band

High-energy, talented local musicians that play some of the most energetic dance music out there. This month, regulars Joey Gish, David Rivers, and Will Jevne will be joined by Claire Furtwangler on cello!

 

 

Anne Peterson and Ash Goren calling

Anne Peterson and Ash Goren have been part of the contra dance scene in Oregon since 2014, devoting much of their time to dancing and organizing contra dances. Ash loves the puzzle of it. Anne loves hooking new dancers on the fun, and is called to promote its health benefits, by calling.

 

Port Angeles Contra Dance goes on hiatus for the summer season and will return on September 19 with New England band Dawn Chorus and Seattle-based all-star caller Lindsey Dono. We’ll see you then!
