Black Diamond Contra Dance goes on hiatus during the summer and returns in the fall.

Grange Busters
Grange Busters (Andrew & Heather Norcross with Joe Fulton) is a classic old time string band that specializes in making your hips shake, rattle and roll. With half of the band from North Carolina and the other half corn-fed, mid-west stock, we play traditional fiddle tunes from anywhere east of the Rockies and anytime before the war.
You’ve seen Andrew and Heather dancing with the baby. Now they get their turn on stage at our dance for the first time.
Laura Mé Smith calling
The ever gracious Laura Mé Smith has been delighting dancers with her top-notch teaching and rapier-sharp wit since 1980. More than any other caller, she helped get the Peninsula’s contra dances through the pandemic. We’re always glad to have her back.
Port Angeles dancers: Don’t miss dancing at Northwest Folklife in Seattle on Memorial Day Weekend! Some of the best contra dancing in the PNW, all weekend long in the Fisher Pavilion at Seattle City Center. Entrance to Northwest Folklife is open to all by donation. Hope to see you there!
