We are fortunate to have the famous Ruthie Dornfeld here for her first time at Black Diamond Hall. Now in Seattle, she has performed all over the world for thirty years. She is fluent in a wide range of styles, from Celtic and old-time to Scandinavian and Eastern European. Her 15 years in New England included playing for more contra dances than she can count. Forest Gibson will join her on guitar.

Marlin Prowell called a very fun dance for us a couple years ago.
From Bellingham, he has been calling dances in the Pacific Northwest and around the country for twenty five years. His smooth, and competent style inspires a sense of comfort among dancers. Matching the dances with the music and his sense of playfulness makes it fun for all.
